Our position in the Mezzanine Flooring UK market
Established as a family business in 1989, Moor Storage are still family run and are now one of the UK’s longest-standing mezzanine floor suppliers and installers in the UK.
We’re based in the West Midlands and install mezzanine floors all over the UK and Europe, primarily for trade customers. We often work with partners’ customers on their behalf, undertaking site surveys and client liaison during projects.
We’re renowned for our high-quality products, professional management, and exceptional customer service – we take pride in our work, we deliver when we say we’re going to and, should any issues arise, we are always here to help.
We like to stand out from other mezzanine floor suppliers by providing peace of mind that all our designs are checked several times before we install them.
We’ve installed a wide variety of mezzanine floors for all sorts of designs - with businesses and applications ranging from suspended ceiling frame support right through to heavy industrial storage. Each one varies greatly in size and complexity, with every project specifically designed to meet your customer’s requirements.
As we have been established as leading mezzanine floor suppliers since 1989, we have a vast amount of skills and experience in installing mezzanine floors.
Our floors are fabricated off-site to precise measurements, so no adaptations are required on-site, minimising installation time. Our team of experienced fitters will ensure the floor and any accessories, such as handrails, stairs, and mezzanine safety gates, are installed safely and securely.
Mezzanine Floors for sale
We are often asked if we have any second-hand mezzanine floors for sale. However, the cost saving of a second-hand floor - as opposed to having a new one - is minimal as the old one has to be dismantled, re-worked, stored, and modified to a new design.
In addition, there is a 78% chance of something being wrong or defective with the old materials and second-hand floors come with the following risks:
Untraceable materials and welds can result in the failure of the structure
Unknown condition of the decking can result in waste disposal costs
Some materials will have stopped being manufactured - like Elewells profiled secondary deck beams - or certain decking profiles and sizes
So, commissioning a new mezzanine floor won’t actually cost much more than re-using an old one plus it’s fully compliant and comes with a guarantee for the fabrication. You can’t put a price on safety.
